Sheldon went through a nine-hour-long operation that removed the tumour from his brain—but sadly, he faced severe paralysis after the operation due to the damage to one of his facial nerves. A few years later, the couple was having lunch at Pizza Hut. His wife noticed a twitch near his mouth. She noticed that he started biting and chewing and also tried to talk.
It was no less than a miracle for the couple as they were about to get married. She said that they started crying and hugged each other. She said,
“Everyone was looking at them, as we were two crazy people who started crying and laughing simultaneously, but we didn’t care as it was a joyous moment for both of us.”
