Jamal Adams reporter wife controversy is getting a lot of attention from the public as the star refuses to apologize for his mocking comment.
The Seattle Seahawks safety was questioned about his (now removed) answer to Jets reporter Connor Hughes, who penned a simple “Yikes” on the game-winning score Adams gave up to Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, during Wednesday’s media scrum in Renton.
Adams retaliated, drawing a great deal of criticism, with his own “Yikes” and a picture of Hughes’ wife.
Hughes continued to write a lot of articles and tweets on Adams even after the Seahawks signed him in 2020. Maybe there’s a personal issue between them.
Jamal Adams reporter wife insulting post
Last Friday, Adams tweeted a picture of Connor Hughes wife with the same wording and an emoji that made fun of her.
In a statement on Wednesday, Adams said, “It’s always the athlete that crossed the line when he responds,” expressing no regret for his behavior. However you choose to interpret it, disrespect is disrespect at the end of the day. I answered as a result”.
Adam keeps tweeting about it
‘Don’t start anything will not be anything,’ said Adams in response to another tweet that he posted amid the outcry.
The subsequent tweet fanned the flames as supporters persisted in disparaging Adams on social media.
An admirer said, “You got cooked last night.” “Simply accept it like a man.”
After spending his first three NFL seasons with the Jets, Adams was moved to Seattle in 2020. In his debut season with the Seahawks, Adams participated in his final Pro Bowl game out of three.
The Seahawks, who are now 6-6 and in second place in the NFC West, have been struggling this season, and Adams has yet to register a sack or an interception.
