A trusted colleague of 10 years, Daniel Manning, the CEO says was the right choice, as evidenced by the new VP’s performance in his first 30 days at the helm.
USPA Nationwide Security, a leading provider of protective services across the U.S., has welcomed Dan Manning as the Vice President of Operations. Manning joins the firm’s executive lineup with the newly appointed President, Sondae Esposito, to lead USPA through its next phase of expansion as current CEO, Michael Evans, steps into the role of focusing mostly on USPA’s non-profit wing, Kingsman Philanthropic.
Manning, a graduate of Villanova University, brings a 10-year history of developing the necessary security management skills from his tenure with National Convenience Distributors. Under the tutelage of accomplished Entrepreneurs, Ed and Rita Berro, who, along with Barry Feldman, started Harold Levinson Associates more than 40 years ago, Dan was able to learn from a family that Evans, USPA’s CEO, considers mentors – himself.
Manning is well versed in protective services from his decade of work across multiple facets and levels of security, loss prevention and personnel management at NCD. According to Evans, “Dan hit the ground running. His first two weeks saw things that I – myself – was experiencing for the first time. That lent the opportunity to see how Dan would react to new, and at times, volatile situations – both on the business end as well as in the field.” Manning has already handled 19 new accounts, as well as assisted Kingsman with domestic violence escapes, a successful missing child recovery and he works countless hours on Kingsman’s back-end operations on a daily basis. His extensive experience with streamlining processes, which USPA has already adopted, coupled with his ability to manage operations across the country with little to no assistance from the current administration, is all the proof Evans and Esposito need to know that they made the right choice with Manning.
Kingsman has just launched a speaking series, where Dan will attend in South Florida in early October. His ability to take on many daunting tasks that were formerly handled by Evans and Esposito alone, has opened the flood gates for growth of the Kingsman program; a non-profit wing of USPA that funds and carries out protective details for women and children at no cost.
