Saule Omarova is a Kazakh-American solicitor, professor, and public policy expert, Saule Tarikhovna Omarova was born in the United States. 

On December 7, 2021, at her request, her nomination for comptroller of the currency was withdrawn after she had already been considered a candidate for the position.

She worked as an associate in the Financial Institutions Group at David Polk and Wardwell in New York City, New York, USA, beginning in October 2001 and continuing until July 2006.

Saule Omarova  worked for the United States Department of the Treasury in Washington, District of Columbia, from July 2006 through July 2007, inclusive.

During her time there, she was a special advisor for administrative policy and undersecretary of domestic finance.

In Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in the United States of America, he worked as an assistant professor at the School of Law of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2007 to June 2013. 

She held the position of George R. Ward Associate Professor of Law there from July 2013 through July 2014, the whole year.

She began her position as a lecturer at the Cornell University Law School in Ithaca, New York, in July 2014.

Saule Omarova  attended the summer institute at global finance markets from July 2015 to July 2016 and stayed there the entire time.

She was nominated to be the head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in September 2021, within the administration of the 46th president of the United States, Joe Biden.
