Pursuing a degree in psychology, she attended the esteemed University of California, Berkeley.

Randy Jackson and Eliza Shaffy’s relationship

Eliza Shaffy is an Iranian woman, based on the information at hand. Her relationship with Randy Jackson of The Jackson’s band propelled her to fame and into the public glare.

After Michael left The Jackson 5, his younger brother Randy Jackson, a renowned American vocalist, joined the group. He is the youngest of the brothers, once known as the Jackson 5.

Despite only dating for two years, the youngest Jackson man married Eliza Shaffer when he was around 20. She welcomed her daughter with her husband.

Who is Randy Jackson?

American singer, bassist, record producer, TV personality, and businessman Randall Darius Jackson goes by the stage name Randy Jackson.

Randy Jackson collaborated with jazz, rock, pop, and R&B musicians in the early 1980s.

He provided background vocals on Michael’s This Is It song alongside Jackie, Tito, Marlon, and Jermaine.

Jackson suffered major injuries in Hollywood, California, in a road accident on February 4, 1980. Jackson appeared on the front cover of Jet, a weekly publication for African Americans, in June 1980.

The front cover’s headline read, “Randy Jackson Walks Again: Talks About His Future.”

After completing the 2300 Jackson Street CD, the trio split up and concentrated on individual endeavors in 1990. Jackson then started his band, Randy & the Gypsys, following this breakup.

Before splitting up, the band only had one record released. Randy Jackson and former Iron Butterfly bassist Philip Taylor Kramer co-founded Total Multimedia Inc. to create data compression methods for CD-ROMs. Jackson launched his record company, Modern Records, on June 28, 1998.

Eliza Shaffy personal life

Eliza Shaffe and Randy divorced in 1991, two years after their union.

Even though they had been acquainted for a long time before marriage, the musician had an affair with Alejandra Oaziaza.

In 1986, when Stevanna was 17, her father was dating the woman mentioned above.  Following their initial encounter, they dated for a while but never got married.

Oaziaza asserts that Randy was immature for his age and did not treat her like “the one” he had finally found. There is evidence that she stays involved in his life even after he marries another woman.

Alejandra gave birth to a son for Randy the same year Eliza married Randy. Oaziaza gave birth to Genevieve Katherine, Randy Jackson’s first child.

After that, Stevanna entered the newlyweds’ lives about a year later. Randy had not broken off his romance with Alejandra despite getting married. He shows off his continued interaction with the more senior woman.

Randy and Alejandra had her son Randy Jr. in 1991 after Eliza Shaffy’s daughter Stevanna was born in 1990.

The reason behind their divorce

The Jackson family continued to be controversial even after Randy Jackson’s adultery while married to Eliza.

In reality, the separation from Randy was the cause of the breakdown of the Jackson family. In 1995, Jermaine, the older brother of Randy, was secretly married to Alejandra, Eliza’s ex-husband’s mistress.

Oaziaza claims that Jermaine Jackson truly cherished his family, unlike his younger brother. His present wife was not Jermaine’s first wife. From 1973 to 1988, he married Hazel Gordy for 15 years.

Jaafar and Jermajesty Jackson are Alejandra’s other children, with Randy’s older brother. Additionally, they adopted Donte Jackson into their family.

Eliza Shaffy’s ex-husband said openly how upset he was with her new relationship. He didn’t speak to his older brother for a while and even called him an idiot.

He dubbed his ex-girlfriend a pig because of his grief at her disloyalty.

The Father of Stevanna’s two siblings, via Oaziaza, quit making child support payments.

His older brother questioned why his younger brother married Alejandra and then remained petty and reluctant to move on. Jermaine and Alejandra’s divorce came as a devastating surprise.

Jermaine Jackson and Alejandra Oaziaza divorced in 2004 after nine years of marriage. A year later, he wed Halima Rashid, another woman.

Randy’s arrest after the battery charges

Jackson was accused of abusing his 14-month-old daughter Steveanna Jackson and his wife, Eliza Shaffy, in January 1991. Jackson refused to admit guilt on the battery accusation.

He was requested to sign up for the domestic violence program but didn’t. Police again received a phone call from Shaffy, who told them that the beating was still happening and nothing had changed.

After the call, police arrived at their home and arrested him.

Jackson was ordered to spend 30 days in a psychiatric facility in Canoga Park called Pine Grove facility.

In addition, he had to complete his probation and sign up for a 12-month domestic violence rehabilitation program.

Shaffy announced her intention to be divorced after learning that Jackson didn’t go to jail.

Eliza Shaffy’s daughter, Steveanna Jackson

Eliza Shaffy and Randy Jackson’s daughter, Steveanna Jackson, was born in August 1996. She was raised by her parents in Los Angeles.

Steveanna followed in her parent’s footsteps, entering the music industry and acting.

In 2018, she released her debut single, “Empty Promises,” showcasing her distinct style by fusing soul, R&B, and hip-hop.

Since then, she has released several other songs and the EP Persephone’s Garden. Steveanna is continuing her music career while enrolling in classes at the University of Southern California.

Shaffe’s daughter started writing television and film scripts. And when she began creating music, she used the moniker Billie Bodega.

She portrays Tasha in Zoey (2005), Amy in The Wrong Child (2016), and Piper in American Horror Stories (2022).

By writing songs like Ocean Blues, Numb, Like Woah, Cannibal, and others, she has also established herself as a true Jackson.

Along with her love of music and acting, Steveanna advocates for mental health and works with several groups that promote awareness of conditions, including depression and anxiety.

She wishes to inspire others to be vocal about their hardships and discover inner peace through her songs.
